Carolina Stars Gymnastics is Fort Mill's newest and most comprehensive gymnastics training center and USA Gymnastics club member. In addition, we offer a range of other programs including, tumbling, karate, birthday parties and open gym. We are proud of our facility and instructors, and confident your child will have a fun and rewarding experience participating in one of our programs.

Alisha is originally from Indianapolis, IN, Alisha began gymnastics at the age of 7 and was a competitive gymnast for 15 years. Alisha was a member of the 1996 and 1998 national championship winning teams at Miami University where she was also team captain in 1998. Alisha has owned and operated CSGA since June of 2001. In 2005 She and Paul had a son, Alex. She is a USA gymnastics member and is safety certified.
Kali

Kali is originally from West Palm, Florida. She is a senior at Nation Ford High School. She has danced for 14 years. Her favorite gymnastics event is the floor. Kali is planning to attend College of Charleston after graduating high school. She would like to major in event planning. Kali graduated from the assistant teacher program at Carolina Stars in the spring of 2007 and has been coaching since the summer of 2007.

 

 

 

Trisha

Trisha is originally from Rome, New York. She began gymnastics at the age of 3. Trisha graduated from Springfield College where she competed all four years. Her college team placed third in the nation in 2000. Trisha is happy to be coaching our Level 6 girl’s competitive team as well as running the T.O.P.S. program. Her favorite event is Floor Exercise. She is a USA gymnastics member and is safety certified.

 

 

 

Alisha
         
Paul
Paul is originally from Buffalo, NY, Paul has been coaching for the past 20 years. He has coached many boys to the state and regional level. In 1998, Paul spent the entire summer working with athletes from all over the country at Woodward Gymnastics Camp. Paul has owned and operated CSGA since June of 2001. In 2005 he and Alisha had a son, Alex. He is a USA gymnastics member and is safety certified.
Brandi


Brandi is from Blairsville, Pennsylvania and now lives in Fort Mill, SC. She has her undergraduate degree from Penn State and her Masters from West Chester University in counseling. She has two daughters, Addison and Drew and has been coaching for five years. She has been with Carolina Stars since February of 2006, coaching both recreational classes and team. Brandi is currently a level 4 and 5 girls team coach. She is a USA Gymnastics professional member and is safety certified.

 

 

Marsha


Marsha is originally from Indianapolis, IN. She is the mother of two girls, Alisha and Stacey. Marsha has been involved with gymnastics for many years. She started as a team parent and continued to cheer from the sidelines for 15 years! She now enjoys watching the teams at Carolina Stars as well as working as an office staff member.

Betty

Betty is one of the few remaining Fort Mill natives. She has been working at Carolina Stars since October of 2007. She is the sitter for the coaches’ children and also the teacher for preschool open gym. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at her church. Her future plans are to attend Furman University or USC to become a librarian. Her favorite gymnastics event is vault.

 

 

 

Tara

Gala
Gala is originally from Bulgaria, Europe. She has been doing gymnastics since she was 4 years old. She competed at Junior Olympic level in Bulgaria and has been taught by Olympic coach Ilia Nedev(St. Louse, MO). She holds a Master degree in Economics and Marketing. She has been in the United States since 2002. She is the Pre-Team Director and has been with Carolina Stars since October of 2004. She has 2 children: Desi and Martin and currently is a Team parent. Her favorite event to coach is the Uneven Bars. She is a USA gymnastics member and is safety certified.
Christina


Christina was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and has lived in California, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. She is a teacher and cheerleading coach at Fort Mill Middle School. She began taking gymnastics at age 3 and was a competitive gymnast for ten years. She has been at Carolina Stars since May of 2008.

Katie is a sophomore at Nation Ford High School. She has been taking gymnastics for eleven years. Katie graduated from the teacher assistant program at Carolina Stars. Her favorite event is floor
